So finally I am letting my children grow up - I don't want it to be sexy though, so a lot of pictures aint suitable at all. Dreamy and aerial is what I am after.

I got recommended this radio program the other day. It is about fashion history and different style influences from music/movies/art and so on. You can listen to them online or download them for free here. I think I will start with the one about Keith Harring. Perfect for power walks or traveling.
I drew this one almost a year ago and found it in my cell phone. It is supposed to look like someone, I doubt anyone will be able to guess who though.
It is funny what you can do with lines and curves while you are doodling around. How certain shapes and structures look masculine, like the jawbone and the eye brows. Also, his gaze is kind of piercing, isn't it. Looks right through you. No place to hide. One year ago, I made this self-portrait. I'm not ready to make a "real" one yet, but I'll try to make something a little more realistic one day.
Big love of mine <3 You know I start to paint realistically, but then this little devil inside of me adds some purer color fields like the dash of red you see in her hair. Guess I can't deny I like color.. I don't want to see the world as a greyish mass, I but my own colorful filter on it. :) I used to walk this street every day to get to work. It is called Goya after the painter but I would rather say it is famous for all the shopping nowadays. This is a monument called Puerta de Alcalá. It is the beginning of the street which leads to Alcalá de Henares. In Alcalá there is another monument where the road ends called Puerta de Madrid. I'm glad I took the camera with me when I was doing normal stuff this time. Otherwise I always end up taking pictures of food or the nightlife - which is completely misjudging. These are the streets I've been walking and the great monuments I've laid my eyes on every day.
In Spain, the three wise men/kings come with the Christmas presents to the kids - not Santa Claus. To celebrate the arrival of the kings, they hold an event called Cabalgata in Madrid every year. The streets are filled with people and enthusiastic children and the whole procession starts with the guiding star. It is followed by cars, horses and performances of every kind and it ends with the kings reading a letter to the kids on a stage outside the old post house. Then there is fireworks of course. Como hacer feliz a alguien/ how to make someone happy <3 The whole event lasted for hours and it was freezing cold outside, but totally worth it. Firefighters of Madrid. They were throwing hard candy from all the cars, and it wasn't a pleasant experience at all, gosh how it hurt when they hit my head! Good thing they hit me and not the kids though, I played the part as a human shield haha :) We were so lucky to be in the VIP section closest to the stage. Madrid's Mayer, Ana Botella, was there (the woman in red watching the parade). This wagon looks like something out of a fairytale. Melchor, Balthasar and Gaspar (embarrassing but I don't know who is who). Now Christmas is definitely over and I've had such a great start of the new year. 2015 - you are welcome!
Since I won a drawing from the amazingly talented Eloy Morales, I wanted to do something to show my gratitude. It was this beautiful little girl who randomly picked a number amongst the comments of the IG post where he was giving away one of his studies, and that comment belonged to me. When I saw this picture of her when she had fallen asleep after the draw I immediately felt like I had to paint it. You know that feeling when your whole body tells you to do something? Well, that's how it was and I enjoyed painting it so much. The pose, the expression, the tenderness and the love...<3 So this was my gift to Eloy and this little girl. It is hard to make justice to someone when you paint them, but what I can say is that I painted it with passion and with a great dose of thankfulness. I'm not going to publish the original photo because it is not mine to show, so I'm sorry to say that you will never see if it is alike or not. I got to dedicate the painting to her and I did it in Swedish, so maybe one day she will learn the words and know what it says. Thank you little Ms. C and I wish you all the best in this big and crazy world!
