Today I've started on my second hand sculpture - a candle holder. I wish I was able to do this more often and I'm thinking about looking for some sort of clay I can use in my studio.

Regarding painting, I'm working on the portrait still. Further, the studio is almost done, I just have to figure out a good way to hang the paintings on the wall while I paint. If I only use a nail the canvas will move with the brush strokes. Have to think a little more about that..:)

We also had a meeting this week with the board of the art association. Next planned exhibition will take place in September - more info to come further on.

Couldn't wait any longer to move some of my stuff to the studio; colors, books and two easels to begin with.

Then we have the lighting, this is an artist's wet dream - dimmed spots on a rail which can be moved around as you wish :D

Tomorrow I'll wash another wall and then it will be painted white too. I'm so thankful for have been given this opportunity <3

Lots of projects going on (I'm not dead, quite the opposite)! I'm going to move to another apartment in just some months and we are also making space for a new art studio in the same building <3 At the moment we're painting the studio walls white. It will be such a blessing to work with all my art projects there.

There's been a two week long break from the ceramics due to an exhibition in Stockholm, but we will start again on Tuesday. The plan is to continue on my hand sculpture before I move on with anything else.

Apart from that, I'm working on a comissioned portrait so I'm putting a lot of effort into that <3
