I have to recommend this course in photography I've been to this weekend. It was organized by Medborgarskolan and our teacher Marcus Jonsson is primarily an action sport photographer. He showed us so many amazing pictures from different sport events and told us about techniques to shoot moving objects at the same time as getting the lighting and the sharpness in the picture right. This is totally new territory to me!
Some of the other things we learnt was how to adjust the white balance, flash, auto-focus, lightning, blender, ISO and shutter speed. Theory was mixed with photo exercises outdoors and the course lasted Saturday-Sunday between 9:30 am to 4:00 pm. I didn't have an own camera with me so I can't share any photos with you at this moment. I will get some of them sent to me by another participant, but it might take some time to get them though.
How to shoot a painting
The second day we went through some photos and scenarios we (the participants) wanted to highlight or know more about. Since I think it is damn hard to take photos of paintings, I thought I would share a recommendation I got of a book. Light Science Magic is the name of it -There you can read about how and where to place the lightning to get a good picture of your painting.
