Something I really want to see in London is the new Damien Hirst pill exhibition. Take a couple of minutes and watch the video below. The exhibition makes clear references to pop art and Warhol with the pill silk prints. Apart from the prints, you'll see installations and giant pill boxes which create that Alice in Wonderland feel to the whole experience.
Pills are associated with illnesses, death, but is also used as a replacement of spirituality since we're getting further away from religion in society today. Pharmaceuticals is such an industry. Take a moment and think about what pills you take, how often and why. Are all of them really necessary? I know I've been taking some questionable pills (no illegal ones though). It's been really easy to get prescriptions on for example antibiotics, maybe not in Sweden but abroad.
