Thoughts about the portrait and the technique
I think this one is done. I could give her some thicker lips but I don't think she had injected that much fillers at that time. I have some other areas I'm not 100% about either, but this is not about making it picture perfect. I haven't blended the colors on purpose - e.g. you can see isolated dots of red, white, ochre, blue etc. I've worked with flat brushes and a small pointy brush, not size 0 but almost. The size of the whole painting is about A3.
Thoughts about the message
This character/scene is damn cool. The car breaks down in the middle of the desert and she fixes it by herself. Such a great example of not being a victim under the circumstances. Take control, fix your own problems, your own shit. (ok, wouldn't be able to fix a car myself but you get my point). I've been taught to be independent and I can take care of myself pretty well. That's a luxury (but it should be something unquestionable) women have in the western world <3
