I must admit, I don't like inviting people here because it is 'my space' and it feels very private. When I work on a painting I go though several stages. At lets say stage 2 it might look really ugly. I know how it will look like, or is supposed to look like in the end, but when people see them at that stage they tend to throw their opinion on me and critique a lot even though I haven't asked for it. Should I really have to 'defend' what I am doing? It's something completely different if I ask for their opinion myself.
Would be interesting to know if other painters felt that way too.
