I've attacked one of the bigger canvases now. Feels great to have started on this one to be honest. After two layers of gesso I'm going over it with a colorful layer of acrylic to set the standards for the oil.
As background sound I'm watching shark tank. What a wonderful series! It is about entrepreneurs who present their businesses to potential investors, 'the sharks'. The ideas involve everything from renting hot caddy girls for a golf tournament to a beard softener product for the guys.
The most fascinating thing is to listen to the people's stories. Many of them have given up so much to follow their entrepreneurial dream (sold their houses, worked day and night, been living paycheck to paycheck etc). But most fascinating is the way they pitch and how much passion you can see in their eyes when they talk about their products.
That passion, drive and determination is something we all can learn from, no matter what we do in life.
