What else have I been up to lately? I've prepared a new canvas amongst other stuff. My idea is to stop doing it myself and to buy them ready made, but I had this one lying around. I put the four pieces together by hand, then I measured the distance of the diagonals to make sure it was even (otherwise it might be hard framing it later). Then I made some careful readjustments with the hammer.
Next thing I measured and cut the canvas...
...and stiched it to the frame. The length of this canvas is about 70cm, and that is about what I can handle by myself. I need help to stretch larger ones.
I've started painting on it too, to be continued..:)
