I'm back home and trying to get back to my routines. I've painted a lot already, some oil on paper and touch ups on two oils on canvas.
I also have a new theme I started to work on before London. It is a subject which feels very contemporary and it reflects the health/diet/raw food trend which is prevailing right now. I've also realized how satisfying it is to draw hands (at the moment I enjoy it as much as drawing children's faces). That in combination with this new theme feels so right. The only thing is that when I start on something new I always think it is one of the best ideas I've ever had... It is not until afterwards I can make a clear judgement of it. At least this way of looking upon things give me a hell lot of motivation :)
Bell pepper and corn/ raw french fries. This is part of the new series. It will not be as realistic as my canvas paintings, I'm using another technique to apply the color and there is no under layer either. I'll post more from the series during the week so stay tuned!
