Thought I'd share something I read recently. It is about reincarnation and weather you believe in it or not, it offers some very interesting perspectives on how to relate to other human beings and animals. Imagine you have had an endless amount of lives before this one. In every life, you have had different parents. Sometimes you have had those who are your worst enemies in this life as parents, and other times you have had animals as parents. All of them have nurtured you when you were a baby and defended you with their own lives. Thinking like this, doesn't you get a whole new respect for animals? Doesn't it make you realize that even your enemies have good sides?
The reasoning comes from the book Love, by Dalai Lama.

By the way, here's a slightly sharper picture of the painting from the last post.
