Streets I used to walk

I used to walk this street every day to get to work. It is called Goya after the painter but I would rather say it is famous for all the shopping nowadays.

To the left: Torres de Colón Madrid. From where I worked, I could see these towers.

Above: Plaza de Colón. The flag is one of the most significative ones in Spain. When the wind is blowing it looks very powerful with the red and yellow stripes cutting through the blue sky.
This is a monument called Puerta de Alcalá. It is the beginning of the street which leads to Alcalá de Henares. In Alcalá there is another monument where the road ends called Puerta de Madrid.

I'm glad I took the camera with me when I was doing normal stuff this time. Otherwise I always end up taking pictures of food or the nightlife - which is completely misjudging. These are the streets I've been walking and the great monuments I've laid my eyes on every day.
