*Painting and colors really make me happy. Not in a superficial way, it awakens something inside me.
*The best part isn't looking at the finished product, but the glimpses when you are in the middle of the WIP and see the potential of what the painting might become. It is like looking at a flower that is about to blossom or a diamond in the rough. (The end result in itself is often quite disappointing. I'm never fully satisfied with what it looks like.)
*If no-one ever saw my work, I would still paint.
